Traditional artwork encompasses a plethora of different pursuits. Here I am referring primarily to academic artwork, study from nature and old masters. This includes portraiture, figure, still-life and landscape /cityscape. With this work I am most interested in merging an accuracy of observation with a sensitivity to the essense of the subject. What I mean here is the presence of a portrait's subject or the spirit of a place.

I am available for commissioned portraits of individual subjects or groups set in a simple monotone background or in a setting of your choosing. This could be your favorite old city, a famous landmark or an inspiring landscape.
